Not Words, but What We Make Others Feel Remains

Words can be decorative; what remains in memory is the feeling that follows them.

Core thought: “Words are only ornaments. What matters is what you feel and what you make others feel.”

A person often gives too much meaning to words. Beautiful sentences, impressive expressions, and decorative narratives are treated as if they represent truth. Yet a word is easy; the hard thing is to carry the weight of that word.

A person can say beautiful things to someone for hours and empty them all with one action. That is why life records what is felt more than what is said. What remains in memory is not the sentence, but the feeling formed inside us after that sentence.
